QSRU 2026 PLAYER EOI REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN

Queensland Samoa Rugby Union is now accepting Expressions of Interest for players wanting to be part of our 2026 campaign.

We are welcoming registrations from U6 through to U18 as we continue building strong pathways and opportunities for the next generation of Samoan and Pasifika athletes.
This is your opportunity to represent culture, community, and pride while developing within the game of rugby union.

A difficult decision, but one made with the future of our athletes and pathways in mind.

Although QSRU will not participate in the 2026 Pacific Youth Rugby Festival, we are excited for the next chapter ahead with bigger opportunities planned across our junior and senior programs.

We thank everyone for their continued support and patience as we continue building stronger pathways for our athletes.

We’re proud to announce our first QSRU coaching appointment for 2026.

Our U18 Boys will be led by JP, stepping in as Head Coach this season, alongside Cristo Taufua and Dominic Feaunati. With a wealth of professional and international experience, we’re grateful to have this trio returning to guide the group.

Looking forward to an exciting QSRU season ahead.

After a successful launch in 2025, we are now preparing for an even bigger 2026 season. To support this growth, we’re opening the doors to our community and inviting expressions of interest to join our committee.

2026 is set to be a big year, and we want to start early by bringing together strong community voices to help shape what’s next.

As we close out the year, we want to say thank you to everyone who has been part of the QSRU journey.

The launch of our Youth Cups marked a huge step forward this year. In a short time, we have seen real growth stronger pathways, more opportunities, and our community coming together with purpose.

To our players thank you for representing with pride.

To our volunteers coaches and managers thank you for the countless hours leadership and care you give behind the scenes.

To our parents supporters sponsors and partners thank you for believing in the vision and backing it from the ground up.

This year was just the foundation. We move into the new year focused hungry and committed to building something special for the next generation.
