Thank you to Greenbank Services Club for helping us reach the increasing need for our mentoring program in Greenbank and surrounds. 📚

As recipients of their 2026 Grant Round, we are using these funds to reduce our waitlist of children in Greenbank and the surrounding area. By screening, training, recruiting and supporting volunteer mentors in the area, we will be creating meaningful connections for children living in foster care.

If you live or work in or around Greenbank, QLD, and have a spare hour in your week to visit a child in care, please reach out. We'd love to have you! 🩵

Goodstart North Rydge celebrated National Pyjama Day 2026 differently this year, with their preschool children taking their fundraising efforts beyond the centre and into the local community.

After baking homemade cookies to thank their supporters, they headed to the metro station to spread awareness and raise funds.

At first, the children were understandably shy, but with encouragement from their educators, they found their voices and proudly called out: “Please donate money for children in foster care!”

Their National Pyjama Day was one to remember, and it was a beautiful way for preschoolers to learn about kindness, community and making a difference in the lives of others.

We are looking for young people aged 16-30 years, who have or have had a Pyjama Angel, to participate in a Youth Advisory Body Workshop at QUT Gardens Point this Saturday.

🕑 TIME: THIS Saturday 10 October at 10am – 4pm.

Young people are the experts in their own lives, and your voice has the power to shape real change. We have 5 x spots available to join this one-day workshop where you'll help design The Pyjama Foundation's new Youth Advisory Body. This will be a group who share ideas, provide feedback, and help influence decisions that affect young people and the services they receive.

You can contribute through discussion, brainstorming, drawing, problem-solving, or working with others in a group. No special knowledge or experience is required. We simply want to hear your ideas, learn from your experiences, and work together to create something meaningful.
