Michael Ball: [email protected] was established in 1937, and is the oldest Dog Training Club for all breeds of dogs in Australia. This club is very proud to be the recipient of the 2016 city of Whitehorse Australia Day Community Club Award. The club will continue to deliver a high standard of training and enjoyment to its members and will continue t
eaching the importance of responsible animal ownership to members of the community. AIMS OF THE CLUB
Our team of experienced trainers, all volunteers, promote responsible dog ownership by teaching owners how to train their dogs to become well-mannered and happy companions. The club also focuses on teaching safe handling of dogs and appropriate conduct around them. Our baby puppy classes, designed to be both informative and fun, are held indoors in a safe, friendly environment. In addition to learning how to properly socialise, the puppies gain confidence by negotiating an obstacle course. Owners are taught how to teach fundamental obedience skills and how to care for their new puppies. We foster participation and enjoyment for handlers of all ages and dogs of all breeds and ages. We provide baby puppy classes i.e. puppies from 8 weeks to 4 months of age, on a weekly basis indoors. Our club rallies are held on the second and last Sunday of each month at Surrey Park
