DEALING WITH WEATHER EMERGENCIES IN WHITEHORSE
Our speaker is Garth Stewart, Council's Emergency Management Specialist. Given the recent extreme heat, and increased risk of flood and fire that could impact our area, we thought it timely to hear from Garth on how Council is protecting both residents and assets.
His presentation will be followed by brief reports from Councillors and Paul Hamer MP if they are available.

We warmly invite you to join in our last meeting for 2025.
At our next meeting on Tuesday 25 November we will hear from Linda Keenahan who is Project Manager for Council's Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan. She will update us on the progress of the Plan, including the results of the community survey recently undertaken.
This will be followed as usual by reports from the Ward Councillors and Paul Hamer MP, if they are available on the night.

As this will be our last meeting for 2025, we will have refreshments afterwards; it would be appreciated therefore if attendees could bring a plate (preferably with something on it!)

You are warmly invited to our next meeting, on Tuesday 26th August at 7:30pm. We will hear from Simon Kinsey, Manager City Services, Whitehorse, who will provide an update on waste collection matters, including a bin for glass recycling and the FOGO rollout. Whitehorse Council is seeking feedback on the proposals, so this is a chance to be updated and provide feedback.
As usual local Ward Councillors and Paul Hamer MP will provide updates if they are available on the night.
