We are proud to partner with Woodridge State High School to give students real-world experience that goes beyond the classroom.

We have heard reports of past students stepping into roles as waitstaff and chefs, crediting their time at Community Connect as the foundation that got them there.

When we create spaces for community to thrive, we also create pathways for the next generation to flourish. That is the ripple effect of showing up for people.

Every year, Term 2 ends the best way we know how with our Mimi's House Talent Show. 🎉

All term long, our children practise, prepare, and grow, and when the big day arrives, they step up and shine in front of their friends, family, and school community.

It's more than a performance. It's a moment where confidence blooms, voices are found, and every child gets to show the world what they're capable of. All in a place of safety.

Eight years ago, the Anderson family fled domestic violence and arrived in a new community with very little. Lily was withdrawing from the world. Hunter was socially isolated. And mum Rachel was unemployed and finding her feet.

Today, Lily knows how to be herself. Hunter is out playing with friends. And Rachel has a full-time job she loves at Redcliffe Hospital.

This is what early intervention looks like when it's done with heart. Not just a program, but a community that walks alongside a family for years, through every season.

Community Lunch is more than just a meal. For Thomas and Helen, it became family.

After years of loss and the kind of loneliness that creeps in quietly, they found a table where someone knew their name, pulled up a chair, and made them feel loved.
