A great reminder that every dollar makes a difference💛

Earlier this year, RDO teams across Australia came together for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, raising $10,128 for Cancer Council Queensland.

Recently, Ben and Mick visited the Olivia McMahon Lodge in Toowoomba, gaining firsthand insight into how these funds help support Queenslanders and their families while undergoing cancer treatment away from home.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make a real impact.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. ⚠️

Especially if it's a post about unapproved peptide injections hyped as "quick fixes" for anti-ageing, wellness or fitness goals.

What many people don't realise is that unregulated substances can carry serious risks, including liver toxicity, organ damage and infection. Sharing or reusing needles can also increase the risk of viral hepatitis, including hepatitis B and hepatitis C. Over time, hepatitis can cause chronic liver damage and increase the risk of liver cancer.

When was the last time you checked your breasts? 🩷

Around 1 in 7 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, but when found early, most can be treated successfully.

No matter your age, knowing your breasts could help you spot a change sooner.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a reminder to get to know what's normal for your body and speak to your GP if you notice any changes.

Working under the Queensland sun? UV exposure could be your biggest workplace hazard.

🚧 Outdoor workers can receive up to 10 times more UV exposure than indoor workers, placing them at a higher risk of skin damage and skin cancer.

🚧 In Queensland, it takes as little as 10 to 15 minutes to get sunburnt on a summer day.

🚧 Skin cancer is one of the most preventable cancers. Simple sun-safe habits can make a big difference.

As we head into summer, help your team reduce their occupational UV exposure by booking a SunSmart Toolbox Talk.

We offer online and in-person sessions to help workplaces understand UV risks, promote sun-safe behaviours and reduce cancer risk.
