Dress for Success Brisbane is a suiting and career support program for women, one of the wide range of programs provided by Suited to Success Ltd. Suited to Success helps people in Queensland overcome barriers to employment, and provides employment assistance, career coaching, workshops, clothing and styling services, and peer support activities at no cost to the people who need our services. ave a small team, and the majority of our services are powered by volunteers. Our premises are in Brisbane, where we have our: styling boutique, training spaces, and office. We rely on the support of the community to fund over 80% of our services. Managing the Dress for Success Brisbane program enables us to connect and collaborate with affiliates throughout the world – all committed to helping people thrive in work and life. In Australia, there are other Dress for Success affiliates in: Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and New South Wales. Each affiliate operates independently, however affiliates connect to share knowledge, resources, and advocate for funding to ensure our long-term sustainability. We share the newly developed Dress for Success Virtual Career Support Digital Portal, which is proudly funded by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Office for Women. Suited to Success licenses the Dress for Success name from Dress for Success Worldwide. The overall mission of Dress for Success throughout the world is “to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life”. is a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) endorsed as a deductible gift recipient (DGR) and for charity tax concessions.
