There is currently political debate about accessing your superannuation early. As SBS News points out, "making an early withdrawal can have a big potential impact on your future retirement savings". The Australian Taxation Office has also had to "issue warnings about misleading ads and social media claims, encouraging people to try to withdraw super on compassionate grounds, such as medical or dental expenses that are not absolutely necessary on health grounds."

What can change when a woman leaves prison with someone firmly in her corner?

On Tuesday, 1 September, Women's Justice Network and Western Sydney Women will bring together women with lived experience, community leaders, frontline practitioners and compassionate supporters for Voices for Change.

Over lunch, guests will hear powerful first-hand perspectives, explore the barriers women face after prison and learn why mentoring, advocacy and genuine community connection matter.
