St Paraskevi Community Mission - Blacktown Our Mission is to support those in need within our church community and surrounding suburbs.

☦️ SAINT PARASKEVI FEAST DAY 2026 ☦️

We invite everyone from our Parish and Community to join us in celebrating the Feast Day of our Patron Saint, the Holy Venerable Martyr, Saint Paraskevi.

📅 Saturday, 25 July 2026
🕖 7:00 p.m.

Great Hierarchical Vespers, presided over by His Grace Bishop Christodoulos of Magnesia. Following the service, all are warmly invited to enjoy fellowship over dinner in the Parish and Community Hall.

📅 Sunday, 26 July 2026
🕢 7:30 – 11:00 a.m.

Hierarchical Matins and Divine Liturgy for the Feast of Saint Paraskevi, presided over by His Grace Bishop Iakovos. Following the Divine Liturgy, all are invited to remain for our St Paraskevi Greek Festival, as we continue the celebration with delicious food, fellowship, and festivities.

We look forward to celebrating this sacred occasion with you and your families, and we pray that Saint Paraskevi continues to intercede for and protect us all. 🙏☦️

We’ve still been hard at work through our St Paraskevi Community Mission - Blacktown initiatives.

- On 14/5/2026: our team continued serving at Alpha Park as part of the FEEDING PROGRAM, sharing food, groceries, and support with members of the wider community through compassion and care.

- On 18/5/2026: was our next edition of the MISSION KITCHEN, bringing people together over warm home-cooked meals (Γεμιστά), fellowship, and parea in a beautiful spirit of service, take it from me - yummmmmm.

We are grateful to everyone who helped prepare meals, pack groceries, donate items, and support these initiatives. Your generosity continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many.

Did you miss us? We are still here and working very hard.

It has been a big and truly blessed month of April for the St Paraskevi Community Mission – Blacktown.

We gathered once again for our Mission Kitchen, our new monthly initiative supporting those in our parish community who may be unable to prepare meals for themselves — while also creating a space for fellowship and parea over a warm, home-cooked meal. It continues to be a beautiful and moving expression of care within our community. If you, or someone you know, would benefit from a home-cooked meal, please know that this initiative is here for you. We warmly invite you to join us in the Cultural House as we gather in a spirit of fellowship and service, offering a small but meaningful act of love and support to those in need.

Our Feeding Program also continued at Alpha Park, Blacktown, as we serve the wider community with compassion, dignity, and love through this important outreach.

We are also grateful to those who assisted in preparing and distributing grocery bags to individuals and families supported through our mission initiatives.

We are truly overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you to everyone who contributed in any way — from preparing meals, packing and distributing goods, to donating food, clothing, and essential items.

Your generosity and dedication are a blessing to so many.

It’s was a big and truly blessed week last week for the St Paraskevi Community Mission - Blacktown.

On Monday, we held our second Mission Kitchen, supporting parishioners who are unable to prepare meals for themselves — whether due to illness, injury, age, or challenging circumstances — while also welcoming those who wish to come together for parea over a home-cooked meal. It has been incredibly moving to see this ministry come to life within our community

On Thursday, 12th March 2026, our Feeding Program was back at Alpha Park in Blacktown. It was a joy to continue to serve the wider community with compassion, dignity, and care as we begin another year of outreach.

And finally, we are grateful to those who assisted in packing grocery bags and distributing them to those supported through our mission initiatives.

We are truly overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you to everyone who has contributed — those packing grocery bags, collecting supplies, cooking meals for the Mission Kitchen, serving at Alpha Park, and donating meals, cakes, drinks, fruit, clothing, and groceries.

Your generosity, love, and hard work are a blessing to so many.

May God grant you and your families many blessings.
