Did someone order a drenching? We had a very soggy day at Belair national park parkrun today! It was great to see so many runners, walkers and volunteers brave the persistent rain and some even embracing the puddle jumping during their run!
It was lovely to see the local wildlife making the most of the lush green grass and wet conditions!
Milestone congratulations: Congratulations to Ben Preston for completing his 100th parkrun today! Steve Grace has also completed his 50th volunteer milestone (49 at Belair!) and Jake Hodgman completed his 10th (unofficial but we will celebrate you regardless!). Well done to all! If you have any photos please reach out so we can update the report!
Visitors: With the rainy run brief we didn’t catch any visitors speaking up today. If you were visiting and we missed you, let us know and we will update the run report!
Participation: We had 79 parkrunners who came out to run, jog and walk the course, 10 were first timers to BNP including 5 that completed their first ever parkrun! We had 8 new Personal Bests! Representatives of 10 different clubs took part. We love that you all chose Belair National Park parkrun for your run or walk today! We also had a big group of loyal Blokes at the Back today led by Jake Hodgman!
Vollie Team: Special thanks to the amazing team of 31 vollies that helped us bring you BNP parkrun today, led by our legendary Kate R.
