It was great to see so many of our Old Scholars from the Class of 2021 at their 5 Year Reunion on Saturday, both at the Secondary Campus and The Ed!

Old Scholars enjoyed catching up with each other, and being toured through familiar and new Secondary Campus spaces by Catherine Emmerson and Ben Clark.

We look forward to the next event with this cohort, and encourage our Old Scholars to keep their details up to date to ensure they don't miss event details. Please head to https://www.stjohns.sa.edu.au/update-your-details/ to update your details, particularly if you have a Reunion coming up this year (Graduates from 2006, 2011 and 2016). Invites for these Reunions will be sent shortly.

Old Scholars Pedal Prix Racing Team – Expressions of Interest

The School is seeking expressions of interest to create a St John’s Grammar Old Scholars Pedal Prix team!

Did you compete in Pedal Prix during your school years, and have been looking for a way to get back into the sport? Or perhaps it was something that you always wanted to try? Well – now’s your chance!

The School is looking to enter an Old Scholar team into the ‘C7’ Open Community category, to race at the Tailem Bend 6-hour (Saturday 23 May), the Victoria Park 6-hour (Saturday 20 June) and the Murray Bridge 24-hour (Saturday/Sunday 19/20 September).

The School will provide a race-ready trike, and the Old Scholars Association will cover the maintenance costs for the season, with riders asked to only contribute toward race registration costs.

If you are interested in registering to be part of the team, or would like more information, please contact the School’s Pedal Prix Coordinator, Joel Fitzgerald at [email protected].

We hope to see you out on the track!

Introducing…an Intercol Competition!

St John's Grammar School and Pulteney Grammar School are commencing an Intercol competition, marking an exciting new chapter for the two schools!

Many of our Old Scholars enjoyed competed in the Anglican Cup against Pulteney and other Anglican schools, but an Intercol takes this further, providing an opportunity for the whole school community to come together to support our students and demonstrate school spirit and pride.

We warmly encourage our Old Scholars, past parents and past staff to join us on Wednesday 27 August at the Secondary Campus from 4pm onwards to cheer on our teams. A great opportunity to return to the Campus and be involved in this inaugural year of Intercol with Pulteney!

INTERCOL IS COMING!

Our students are excited by this opportunity and all in our community are warmly encouraged to attend and support our students as they compete. The Parents and Friends committee will provide a sausage sizzle and drinks on the Wednesday during the games held at St John’s Grammar.

Matches at St John's Grammar School on Wednesday 27 August include: Boys' Basketball (4pm), Girls' Soccer (4pm), Girls' Basketball (5pm), Girls' Netball (6pm).

Matches at Pulteney Grammar School on Friday 29 August include: Girls' AFL (2:30pm, Morgan Oval), Boys' Soccer (3:30pm, Harriers Pitch), Boys' AFL (4:30pm, Morgan Oval).
