Today we remember and honour the fathers whose babies are no longer in their arms, but forever remain in their hearts.

We see the fathers who grieve quietly, who carry memories in silence, who wonder about the milestones they never got to witness and who continue to love a little one they cannot hold.

Today we ask everyone to remember bereaved dads. Say their baby’s name. Ask how they are doing. Give them permission to talk, to remember and to grieve in whatever way they need.

Event Cancellation

Due to a lack of interest, we have unfortunately made the difficult decision to cancel our Bereaved Father’s Day event.

We sincerely apologise to everyone who purchased tickets and were looking forward to coming along. We are truly sorry for any disappointment this may cause.

We would love to hear your suggestions or ideas for future years. We want to make sure we are creating opportunities that genuinely support and connect bereaved fathers in a meaningful way.

This Sunday on Bereaved Father’s Day, and on the 6th of September, we will be thinking of all the fathers who are missing their precious children. 💙

This special event is dedicated to bereaved dads, providing a welcoming space to connect with others who understand the journey of loss. Family, friends and support people are warmly invited to attend.

We’ll be gathering at X-Golf Ballarat, where you can enjoy the golf simulators in a relaxed and supportive environment - no experience needed!
Golf club hire, food, and soft drinks are all included.

Our next peer support group will be held on Thursday 20th August at 7pm at Djila-tjarriu Community Hub (18 Donegal Dr, Alfredton - Ballymanus Estate). This group will focus on all types of pregnancy and baby loss.

We understand that grief can feel isolating and we hope this group provides comfort, connection and healing through shared experiences. Whether you’re seeking guidance, a listening ear, or a sense of community, this group is here for you.

All partners, friends and support people are welcome to attend.
We gently ask that no babies or children attend so we can support all parents in their different types and stages of loss.

Thank you to the Victorian Sheep Show for choosing Babies Above to receive a cheque from the funds raised. We truly appreciate it.

We were excited to present this years charity "Babies Above" with a cheque from the Victorian Sheep Show Committee. This year we raised nearly $1000 to go towards Babies Above. Babies Above is a not-for-profit organization providing peer support, resources, and community for families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. We are so excited to announce that last Thursday night we raised a huge $800 at Music Bingo hosted by Hop Temple.

Thankyou to everyone who booked a table, came along and donated to Babies Above dedicated to supporting families in Ballarat who have experienced the profound loss of a baby.

Our next fundraiser at Hop Temple for Music Bingo will be on Thursday 9th July! All proceeds go towards Babies Above.

We would love to see as many of you there on the night to have some fun playing bingo with a music twist, enjoying delicious food and drinks alongside your friends and family.
