Babies Above

Babies Above At Babies Above, our mission is to offer heartfelt support and solace to families who have experienced the loss of a baby.

We are committed to providing a compassionate community where families can find understanding, share their stories, and access essential resources. Through our support groups, care packages, and community events, we aim to foster healing and connection during one of life’s most difficult times. Our goal is to honor each family's journey, raise awareness about pregnancy and infant loss, and ensure that no one has to face their grief alone.

On this day and every day, we honour your love and the strength you show living on with your baby above. The mother you are shows unwavering love with your baby in your heart shining on you from above. Your arms may feel empty but know you’re never apart. You carried your baby from this life to the next with love and grace and that’s mothering at its finest. Know we are here thinking of you - you are an amazing mother and that will always be true. Be gentle with yourself today 🤍✨

Today we hold space for the little loves that didn’t get to stay, for the arms that ache and for the names that still live in our hearts.

We are honouring this important day with our annual Babies Above High Tea. An event to support one another, connect with others and remember our babies up above.

To all our mums - our love is real, your story matters, and you are not alone. Once a mother, always a mother 🤍✨

We are incredibly grateful to share that our Bereaved Mother’s Day High Tea event is now completely sold out.

It means so much to know that we’ll be able to hold space and support so many mums on a day that can be especially tender.

Due to the overwhelming response, we’ve created a waitlist. We would especially love to prioritise bereaved mums who would benefit most from attending. Please get in touch if you would like to be added. If you have purchased tickets and are unable to attend, please let us know asap.

Thank you for your support, trust and for helping us create a community of care and understanding 🤍

Our peer support groups are returning tonight in a slightly updated format. Each group will have a specific focus and will be tailored to parents who have experienced a particular type of loss or diagnosis. These groups will include termination for medical reasons (TFMR), miscarriage, stillbirth, pregnancy after loss, as well as groups open to anyone affected by pregnancy or baby loss.

Our first group will be held tonight - Tuesday 3rd February at 7pm at the Wellness Space - 7 College St, Wendouree (a few doors down from the Pilates studios - look out for our sign). This first group will focus on TFMR.

We understand that grief can feel isolating, and we hope this group provides comfort, connection, and healing through shared experiences. Whether you’re seeking guidance, a listening ear, or a sense of community, this group is here for you.

All partners, friends and support people are welcome to attend.

We hope to see you tonight. Please reach out if you have any questions.
