⚽🌟 MEET OUR SOCCER OFFICIAL AMBASSADOR – SAGAR THAPA 🌟⚽

The 7th Oceania Nepalese Sports Meet (ONSM) SA 2027 is proud and excited to welcome Sagar Thapa as our SOCCER OFFICIAL AMBASSADOR! 🇳🇵🇦🇺

Former Nepal National Team Captain and one of Nepal’s most respected footballers, Sagar Thapa is recognised for his leadership, determination, defensive strength and passion for the game.

With 50+ international appearances for Nepal, Sagar proudly represented his country for more than a decade and became a role model for generations of Nepalese footballers.

🔥 One of his most memorable moments came at the 2011 SAFF Championship, when his dramatic last-minute free-kick against Bangladesh secured a memorable victory — a moment that remains iconic in Nepalese football.

Beyond the pitch, Sagar continues to inspire the next generation through his dedication, sportsmanship and commitment to football. His journey represents the values of hard work, perseverance, leadership and pride in representing Nepal.

We are truly honoured to have Sagar Thapa join the ONSM SA 2027 family.

As our Soccer Official Ambassador, Sagar will help promote football, encourage participation, inspire young athletes and bring our community together through sport.

🕯️ Candlelight Vigil – Pray for Nepal

In remembrance of those who have tragically lost their lives in the recent devastating floods and disasters in Nepal, we are coming together for a Candlelight Vigil.

We warmly urge all members of the Nepali community across South Australia to come together in solidarity, compassion and prayer, and to show our support for the affected families and communities back home in Nepal.

Let us stand united as one community, honour the lives lost, and offer our prayers and support during this incredibly difficult time.

The 7th Oceania Nepalese Sports Meet (ONSM) SA 2027 is proud to welcome Bicky Shakya as our TRACK & FIELD OFFICIAL AMBASSADOR.

A passionate trail and ultra runner, Bicky Shakya has built an inspiring journey through endurance, adventure and the relentless pursuit of personal limits. From road running and marathons to challenging long-distance trail ultras, his journey reflects the true spirit of endurance sport.

🏅 ULTRA MARATHON – 50–60 KM
• Five Peaks 60K – 3 participations
• Yurrebilla 56K – 2 participations
• Mt Gambier Tower Trail 56K – 1 participation
• Lofty Revenge 50K – 2 participations
Total: 8 ultra-distance events

🔥 100 KM+ ULTRA EVENTS
• Ultra Adelaide 100K – 1 participation
• Ultra Adelaide 100 Mile – 2 participations

🏐 INTRODUCING THE ONSM SA 2027 VOLLEYBALL MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 🏐

Energy, teamwork, coordination, and determination — volleyball is a sport that brings people together through passion, skill, and competitive spirit.

The Volleyball Management Committee will play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and delivering the volleyball competition at the 7th Oceania Nepalese Sports Meet (ONSM) SA 2027.

From competition formats, rules and regulations to player registrations, fixtures, venue coordination, team communication, match-day operations, and overall competition logistics, the committee will work together to ensure a well-organised, fair, and enjoyable tournament.
