Thank you to all who attended our Rotary changeover, from members to guests and those people from other Rotary clubs and NFO in Junee too. The room looked lovely with Denise’s table decorations and there were not many sweet treats left over either thanks to Julie, Gail and Denise. Thank you Father Paddy for being MC and welcome to Neil McKenzie as President for the incoming Rotary year. Congratulations to new members John Bell and David Hilliard, now a full member, and to Bernard Hart on receiving a Paul Harris Fellowship. A deserving achievement. These three people were inducted by Past District Governor John Egan and Neil was inducted as President by District Governor Judy Ford and we were honoured to have her attend. Judy gave the club a Polio Pelican. This is a soft toy pelican with a number on the bottom, 22, and at the District Conference in April next year if the club has representatives attending the polio pelican has to be brought. A draw will be made and if you are there with the correct number drawn for the pelican the club will receive a $5,000.00 donation to the Rotary Foundation in their name.

Rotary markets are on this Sunday 7th June in the carpark of the Ex-Services Memorial Club. This will be the last market to be run by the Rotary Club so come and browse the stalls, get something warm to eat from the BBQ and a coffee from the club. Being winter markets will begin at 9.00am until 12.30pm. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Rotary markets are on this Easter Sunday in the car park of the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club. Come along and browse the stalls, grab a coffee and get a bacon and egg roll. Find a book to read from the View club to pass away the weekend, get soap and lip balm as well as jams and relishes.

Due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances and with respect to performers, the Pacific Island showcase due 21st March has been postponed. A new date has not bene determined as yet.

On Saturday 21st March, the Rotary Club and Junee Prime Lamb are putting on “Junee Community Island Showcase” at the Athenium Theatre from 3.00pm with twenty performances beginning at 4.00pm and followed by food and soft drinks. Entrance is free but donations are accepted to Rotary. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience firsthand the variety of islander culture from many of the people who work at Junee Prime Lamb. The 21st March is Harmony Day and such a great way to celebrate this as the day is all about inclusivity of various cultures living together.

The first day of autumn is this Sunday 1st March and it is also the commencement of the Rotary markets for 2026. They are in the car park of the Ex-Services Memorial Club form 8.00am until12.30pm. New stallholders will be there selling various things so come and browse these stalls. Their are various goodies to eat such as bread, muffins, slices as well as jam, relish and honey. Browse the book stall and find a good read or two, have a scone and chat to members of combined churches and view the woodwork and olive oil product stalls.
BBQ will be up and going with egg and bacon rolls and sausage sandwiches. Coffee available from the club.

Just a reminder to all that there will be no Rotary markets on this Sunday. Next markets 1st March.

Just letting you all know there will be no markets this Sunday in January and there will be no markets in February either. The next Rotary markets will be the first Sunday in March which will be the 1st March.

The Junee Rotary markets are on on Sunday 7th December in the car park of the Ex-Services Memorial Club Broadway Street. Enjoy a BBQ breakfast, coffee from the club and browse the variety of stalls and get some ideas for Christmas giving.
