Restoring Hope to the Hopeless The vision was birthed in the heart of the project leader, Sonja du Toit, many years ago.

On the 23rd of June 2003, the launching of "Worcester House of Hope" took place. In July of that year we had the first intake. We provide shelter to women and their children in crisis for a period of six months to one year. During this period we help them to process traumatic experiences and enable them to function successfully in society once they have completed program.

Vacancy Social Auxiliary Worker

Job description

The Social Auxiliary Worker will assist in providing Psychosocial support to survivors of gender-based violence. The role involves facilitating support programmes, conducting community outreaches,assist with case management and healing and empowerment in a safe and inclusive environment.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience working in gender-based violence (GBV) field
- Must have a valid driver's licence
-Detailed CV
-Motivation letter
-Proof of registration
-Proof of vetting and screening
