"Being crowned the winner of Ms Ebony Western Cape 2026 while also being recognised as a second annual nominee for Women of Excellence carries an incredibly deep meaning for me. It represents far more than titles or recognition — it reflects my journey, my struggles, my growth, and the purpose God has placed within me.
Receiving the Director’s Choice Award and the Public Choice Award made this journey even more special and emotional for me. To be recognised not only by the directors, but also by the public, reminded me that authenticity, kindness, perseverance, and staying true to yourself never go unnoticed. These awards are a reflection of the love, support, and belief that people have shown me throughout this journey, and for that I am deeply grateful.
There were moments in my life where I doubted myself, faced difficult challenges, and had to rebuild my confidence piece by piece. Through every obstacle, I discovered resilience, perseverance, and the importance of remaining authentic. Standing where I am today reminds me that your past does not define your future, and that pain can become purpose when you choose to rise above it.

As someone who is passionate about creating awareness around teenage pregnancy, divorce, and empowering young women, this title gives me the opportunity to inspire change, uplift communities, and remind others that they are capable of overcoming their circumstances.
Being nominated for Women of Excellence alongside this journey reassures me that leadership is not about perfection, but about impact, consistency, and serving others with compassion. It motivates me to continue walking with grace, humility, and purpose while using every opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
For me, this crown is not only worn on my head — it is carried in my heart through the lives I hope to touch, inspire, and empower every single day."

Tot hiertoe het die Here ons gedra. 👑💜🥰🙌
As ek terugkyk na hierdie ongelooflike reis sedert my visie en vanaf 2022, is my hart gevul met diepe dankbaarheid. As CEO van BWMM Women of Excellence is dit vir my ’n voorreg om jaarliks vroue te vereer wat werklik ’n verskil maak in hul gemeenskappe — vroue met ’n hart vir diens, integriteit en liefde vir hul medemens.

Elke jaar kies ons 10 besondere vroue — ware “super vroue” — wat ons op ’n glansryke aand vier, op die rooi tapyt plaas, en erken vir hul onbaatsugtige bydraes tot hul gemeenskappe. Wat begin het as ’n visie, het gegroei tot iets soveel groter as wat ek ooit kon droom. Jaar na jaar sien ons hoe die opgewondenheid toeneem, families saamkom om hul geliefdes te ondersteun, en gemeenskappe saamstaan in trots.

📍Terwyl ons voorberei vir ons 5de Women of Excellence Awards, sien ons uit na nóg ’n onvergeetlike aand met ons tema: 🌍 AFRICAN AWARDS🏆🪘 ✨️ — ’n viering van kultuur en diversiteit, elegansie en identiteit. Soos voorheen, sal ons binnekort voorsiening maak van alle informasie, en nooi ons almal om pragtig op te dress en deel te wees van hierdie unieke ervaring.

📍Bo alles wil ek die Here eer gee — vir die krag, wysheid en genade wat Hy aan my en my span geskenk het oor die afgelope vier jaar. Sonder Hom sou hierdie reis nie moontlik gewees het nie. Dankie, Here, dat U ons gebring het tot hier — en dat ons met verwagting kan uitsien na wat nog voorlê.🙌🙌

Ons sien met groot afwagting uit na Women of Excellence African Awards 2026–2027, en om ook te sien wie hierdie jaar as ons Ambassadeur aangewys gaan word.👑
