The Story Behind We Believe 7646
We Believe 7646 was founded by Lizelle Webster Louw with a vision to bring hope, dignity, and opportunity back to the community of Mariba Thema, Limpopo as she did before in Cape Town.
The organisation was born from seeing the challenges faced by families after the closure of Stephen's Lumber and the impact this had on employment, the local economy, and community opportunities.
We Believe 7646 believes that communities can rebuild when people are supported, empowered, and given opportunities to grow.
The organisation aims to create a safe place where:
Children can learn and grow.
Families can receive support.
Young people can find pathways to employment.
Elderly and disabled community members can access assistance.
People can gain skills and confidence.
Hope can be restored.
