We are so grateful to partner with HEART NPO on the Day of Dignity, and look forward to hearing even more testimonies. How amazing would it be to be able to provide a warm shower to the destitute even more frequently. Please contact Mandie from Heart NPO at the details below should you have it in your heart to sow.

Checked in with Melt around 07:00 this morning, we were out on the Streets already, doing Day Of Dignity Invitations. (Follow the page, things are formalizing now and you don't want to miss anything!)

We chatted about his Vision, which we totally share, that can be copy/pasted in ANY other Town. We are building the template, so to speak.

It came up that it would be awesome to have our own Mobile Shower Unit. For future as it would save over R10 000.00 in rental fees every time. But, also to be used inbetween, randomly choosing spots to do quick Shower Days throughout the year. Say, every two weeks. Hook up, put a generator on the back of a bakkie, fill the water tanks, and off you go. Easy peasy.

How amazing would that be?

You have no idea, what a massively Positive Impact that will have.

Since the last Day of Dignity in September 2024, several of the Guests on the day, is no longer Homeless, on the Streets and some have even beaten Addictions and reconnected with Families.

Treat People like Human Beings and they RESPOND with that Humanity which is touched, deep inside of them, with the Restoration of just a little !

We can't say that loud enough.

So.

How about it. Is there any of our Supporters who have it within their means- and there are some of you who could, without it being a sacrifice- to Sponsor said bakkie and Mobile Shower Unit?

Just putting it out there for now. Let's see, what is meant to be.đź’ś

Where it all started …
All glory to God for the Day of Dignity! From the time He planted the seed a few years ago, to when He chose 28 September 2024 for the first event, He has sent every right person to be part of this day of restoring the dignity of the homeless, destitute and displaced in the Paarl area.

At the Day of Dignity, it isn’t just the homeless men and women who are served with a nice hot shower, haircut/styling, shave, cup of coffee, sandwich, delicious burger and contact with their loved ones. The Lord also deeply touches the hearts of every donor and volunteer. Tears of gratitude, compassion, love and hope flow.

There are SO many testimonies to share … from how the mobile shower provider “accidentally” walked into Tech 3:23 and got the ball rolling … to a call from Spur offering to donate all the burgers, an outpouring of donations that made us think of the fish and loaves. God has done so many miracles, and we know He will remain faithful.

Then … seeing the transformation in those we serve … the smiles, the skips in their steps, the many thanks, the tears over the first shower in months, even years, the praying together and realising that someone is noticing them. Because we serve El-Roi – “the God who sees”.

The Day of Dignity is where you will see the body of Christ in action!

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” – 1 Peter 4:10.
