Hippopcorn Foundation The Hippopcorn Foundation is an organisaton founded in 2023 with a mission of preserving, celebrating, and promoting African indigenous culture.

Our mission includes documenting traditional music, fashion, cuisine, and customs to ensure these cultural elements are preserved for future generations. We develop educational outreach programs and workshops to highlight the diversity and beauty of African ethnicities. Additionally, we organize cultural events and performances, provide platforms for indigenous artists and designers to gain recogn

ition, and create sustainable employment opportunities for local communities. Through our initiatives, we promote cultural tourism, support eco-friendly fashion practices, and advocate for the protection of intellectual property and cultural heritage. By engaging closely with indigenous communities, we ensure our projects are authentic and inclusive, fostering a deeper appreciation for Africa’s rich cultural tapestry.

NEW ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

The Hippopcorn Foundation is honoured to officially welcome Dr. Malusi Mncube to our Advisory Board Council.

Dr. Mncube is a respected Pan-Africanist, political analyst, and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Johannesburg. His academic and professional work spans global political economy, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, decolonized education, artificial intelligence, identity politics, and Pan-Africanism within the framework of the African Union’s Agenda 2063.

Before entering academia, he gained extensive experience in the corporate and development sectors across finance, investment, banking, marketing, project management, and monitoring and evaluation. His global exposure has strengthened his understanding of international political and economic systems.

Dr. Mncube’s research and publications contribute meaningfully to discourse on governance, conflict resolution, regional development, human security, BRICS, global institutions, and Africa’s evolving role in global affairs.

His expertise and Pan-African vision will play a significant role in guiding the Hippopcorn Foundation’s mission of cultural preservation, youth empowerment, and African-driven development.
