As we are a non-profit organization we don’t fully depend on the government, but there and there we appreciate if the government notices our hard works and trying for the community, we had a blast of a day with the event we Had with WEBCAN in donating the computers that we promised we will donate in the Maaka high school in Polokwane in Limpopo province. This wouldn’t be possible but it was successful because the government gave us more 100 computers to give to the learners.
The WECAN sponsors provided us with computers too as promised and we managed to give the learners from grade 9 to grade 10 in the Maaka high school, each learner was given the laptop and note pad where they will write their notes, we were accompanied by 2 social workers who works in the same school.
All the learners were so happy because it was their first time to own a computer as the school is a public school but they are facing lot of failing problems because this day everything is technology and the school wouldn’t give the learners that privilege as it is very tough with no sponsors. We as Nare foundation we all came to witness the good things that the community and the school was receiving,
The principal Mr Maluleke was so filled with joy because has been hoping that one day something like this one day would take place and the teachers added by saying that they will give their all best to teach the learners computer skills so that if they don’t make it they will be able to use the skills the enquired to fulfil their dreams and they will therefore create certificate to award all the learners after they teach them this computer and they will be able to use the certificate to apply jobs after matric, “ this is a blessing says the principal.
The community was invited too to come and witness this lovely thing and the happiness was toomuch as some of the community members are the parents to the learners, this is a beautiful thing that our children never receives says the parents. Thank you Nare foundations.
