Good morning to all that this message may concern:
To the owners, staff, and patrons of the Jolly Dolphin
We, the Crusaders Motorcycle Club, would like to extend our sincere apologies for our involvement in the incident that occurred at your establishment on 26 December, involving members of our club and members of the Mac’s.
This provoked incident was totally unacceptable and uncalled for, yet, irrespectively, we apologise for our involvement, despite our good intentions to prevent further bullying and disruption by the Mac’s. We apologise to the patrons, as well as for any loss of business that occurred on the day.
Our intention on the day was simply to enjoy a peaceful family gathering and the welcoming atmosphere at your establishment, together with visiting family members who are part of our broader Crusaders community. Unfortunately, a confrontation occurred when we were having a most enjoyable day, dining with family members on holiday, until we were called to break up a fight with a “so called” Christian Motorcycle club, the Mac’s, who were attacking and had stabbed another biker who was returning from the restroom. This biker was a member of another biking club, namely, the Patriots, and, once again, the Mac’s motorcycle club had to pick on a single biker in an attempt to show dominance by intimidation and bullying, with the intention of creating fear during this festive season— a time which should be the total opposite, a time of peace and greetings, as normal bikers behave.
We apologise profusely again, as this is not what biking or the Crusaders ethos is about. Please accept our apologies for any negative media attention that the Jolly Dolphin has had to endure.
Warmest regards
Crusaders National President
