Kloof Street House

At the foot of Cape Town’s vibrant Kloof Street, risen from a fairy-lit garden, lies a dining oasis. Set in a magnificent Victorian house, Kloof Street House is an experience as enigmatic as it is intimate. Our grand old dame is more than just a restaurant, it is a collection of interesting rooms and spaces, each bursting with a character of its own.

The venue is everything for every occasion – live jazz over Sunday lunch, romantic candle lit dinners in our dining rooms or cocktails under the trees in our garden. Our delicious meals, cozy ambiance and friendly staff will make you feel right at home.

A fantastic example of what can be achieved through strong partnerships, teamwork and the smart use of technology. 👏

Over the past eight weeks, the LPR User Group, together with SAPS, Metro Police, law enforcement agencies, security providers, CIDs and Neighbourhood Watches, has helped achieve some incredible results:

🚔 120+ suspects detained
🚗 27 hijacked and stolen vehicles recovered
🔫 11 fi****ms recovered

GPOKCID is proud to be part of a network working together to improve safety across Cape Town. A huge thank you to everyone involved for their continued commitment and collaboration.

Together, we’re helping to make our communities and our city safer.

25 Years of Community. 25 Years of Appreciation. 💚

As part of our 25-year celebration, we wanted to take a moment to thank the people who make a difference every single day.

Instead of cutting a cake, we treated each member of our dedicated team to a burger, chips and a cold drink as a small token of appreciation for their hard work, commitment and contribution to the Green Point precinct.

Whether they've been with us for many years or only a short time, every staff member has played a part in our journey.

Thank you for your dedication, your service and for helping make Green Point a safer, cleaner and better place to live, work and visit. Here's to the next chapter together! 🎉

🎉 Green Point CID Turns 25!

Today we celebrate 25 years of serving the Green Point community.

Looking back, I am incredibly proud of how far we've come. What started as a shared vision has grown into one of Cape Town's most vibrant and well-managed neighbourhoods, thanks to the support of our property owners, residents, businesses, partners and our dedicated GPCID team.

To everyone who has been part of this journey - thank you. Your trust, commitment and collaboration have made this milestone possible.

While we're proud of what we've achieved together over the past 25 years, we're even more excited about what lies ahead as we continue working to make Green Point an even safer, cleaner and better place for everyone.

Happy 25th Birthday, Green Point CID! 🎉
