NICDAM was honoured to take part in the “Integrity in Action” Anti-Corruption Conference hosted by UNISA on 26 – 27 June 2025. Dr Ilse Gravett, a key team member of the National Emergency Response Team (NERT), delivered a powerful message on the role of integrity in trauma response and community healing.
Through her presentation, Dr Gravett highlighted how integrity is not just a value, but a lived commitment to doing what’s right – even when no one is watching. Her talk unpacked NICDAM’s psychosocial model in responding to GBV and trauma, and the critical need for trust, respect and consistency in supporting victims and survivors.
