Real leadership begins with honest conversations.

On 11 August 2026, UNSILENCEDMEN partnered with OfficialSanca Soshanguve to engage 25 boys at Thutong Junior Secondary School in Soshanguve through our Talk to a Boy Child programme.

We created a safe space for an open-circle dialogue where the boys shared their thoughts on leadership, the dangers of substance abuse, and the importance of speaking up instead of suffering in silence.

These conversations are how we build confident, responsible, and emotionally healthy young men. One conversation can change a life.

Every boy deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. 💙

As part of our ongoing Talk to a Boy Child Initiative, UnsilencedMen and OfficialSanca Soshanguve returned to Rhulani Secondary School to promote self-care, confidence, and personal wellbeing.

From health and hygiene packs to fresh haircuts, motivational talks, and interactive games, the day was about reminding young boys that taking care of themselves is an important part of building confidence and self-respect.

Sometimes, the smallest acts of care leave the biggest impact.

Together, we're raising young men who know their worth and believe in their future.

Action speaks louder than words. 🌱🎨🧹

From painting fences and flower pots to planting vegetable seedlings, cleaning shared spaces, and restoring the community garden, every task completed today was a step towards creating a brighter environment for the children and community.

Service isn't measured by the size of the task—it's measured by the heart behind it.

Thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and chose to make a difference this Mandela Day.

Because when we work together, communities flourish.

67 Minutes. One Purpose. Countless Smiles.

This Mandela Day, unsilenced Men proudly partnered with Mavutana Foundation, Blank collection, Thabi Consulting, vusediConstruction, and My Haven App za to serve at Ekuphumuleni Community Garden and Studio.

Together, we spent our 67 minutes giving back by:
🌱 Planting vegetable seedlings for the children's garden.
🎨 Painting fences and flower pots.
🪵 Applying protective coating to wooden structures.
🧹 Cleaning the mural, studio and surrounding facilities.
🪟 Washing windows and, most importantly, sharing hope, kindness and good vibes with the children and staff.

Mandela Day reminds us that real change begins when we come together in service of others. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, helps build stronger and more caring communities.

A heartfelt thank you to Unsilenced Men, Blank Collection, Thabi Consulting, Vusedi Construction, and My Haven App for partnering with us to make a meaningful difference. Together, we continue to prove that collaboration creates lasting impact.

UnsilencedMen was honoured to be invited by ArxTech for their Men’s Mental Health Awareness Run & Dialogue held on 26 June 2026. The day began with meaningful conversations focused on men’s mental well-being and ended with a powerful 5km run.

The dialogue explored the trigger points men face throughout life, how to identify challenges early, and healthier ways to navigate and manage them. We were privileged to have impactful contributions from Dumsani Nyundu — author, public speaker and radio host — together with Mr. Leon De Beer, Director of the The South African Federation for Mental Health National Office.

A day of movement, awareness, learning and honest conversations reminding us that men’s mental health matters and no man should suffer in silence.

UnsilencedMen was honoured to be invited to the Men's Meet-Up in commemoration of Men's Month, hosted by Clinix at Dr SK Matseke Memorial Hospital in the Nebula Boardroom.

The day was filled with meaningful conversations and insightful discussions on important topics affecting men, including legal matters, financial wellness, marriage & relationships, mental health and men's health.

It was more than just a gathering — it was a space for connecting, learning, sharing and growing together. Thank you for creating a platform that continues to encourage open dialogue and positive change among men. 💙
