There has been some confusion and misunderstanding received about the hard membership cards. The actual correct information is the Member must have a yellow or white dues receipt, depending upon if they are Aerie or Auxiliary, to be a legal Member and show proof of a valid membership for this fraternal year. That has not changed.

The hard cards will start being printed and mailed out in July after the bulk drop. As new payments, new Members, or re-enrolling Members are received they are to receive the current yellow or white paper card from the Secretary. The information will be uploaded to the printer once a week so that a hard card can be mailed to them. The paper and hard cards will be acceptable forms of proof of membership for this fraternal year.
Starting next fraternal year, only the hard cards will be valid proof of membership. However, for the Members that are new, re-enrolling, or renewing their dues, since the information will be uploaded to the printer once a week on Monday morning, MMS will be programmed to provide a “temporary receipt” that is printed on plain paper and is only valid for 30-days. This will be their temporary receipt until they receive their hard cards.
