Sirens Project

Sirens Project Our goal is to coordinate specialized rapid deployment teams, supply drops, and general volunteer response.

Sirens Project ASSISTS communities, non-profits, and local authorities through the organization and deployment of VOLUNTEERS, SUPPLIES, and SPECIAL EQUIPMENT in response to natural disasters. By communicating with local law enforcement, churches, and non profit organizations, we aim to identify the greatest need within the impacted community.

Sirens Project operates primarily throughout the Southeast, but will serve wherever God leads.

We took a detour through Ringgold, GA on the way back from our deployment in Goodlettsville, TN.

Scars, in the form of concrete slabs, remain to this day in Ringgold as a result of the April 27, 2011 super outbreak.

The parent supercell responsible for this tornado also produced the Philadelphia, MS EF-5, Cordova, AL EF-4, and the Rainsville, AL EF-5. Evidence of what a perfectly primed atmosphere is capable of.

13 years ago we saw one of the best examples of a classic Great Plains tornado you can witness! Mobile Doppler radar recorded wind speeds of over 260mph as this tornado sat nearly stationary near Bennington, KS.

Before starting this relief organization many of us were storm chasers. We are uploading some of our never before released storm chasing footage from nearly ...

Some of the beautiful people we have had the privilege of serving today! Every single person has a story to share, and makes the hot, humid work all worth it.

We have a couple of more days here in Goodlettsville, before transitioning into preparation for hurricane season. It’s been a blessing so far!

A good travel day, and we were able to get some work done in Goodlettsville for Mr. Tim!

Great to have Trae Fistler from Faith In Action Disaster Response stop by for a couple of hours and help out while he was in the area.

Looks like on an off thunderstorms for the rest of the week, so we will get done what we can! Thank you everyone for your prayers and support. 🙏❤️

A big order of chain segments heading out this week to help with disaster response training! Put all of these together and we might have the world’s largest chainsaw chain 🧐.

We also shipped a tooth this week to the farthest place away so far, Australia 🇦🇺.

Thank you for all of your support!

Finally some new rubber for our main support truck!

We are running 35x12.5r17 Falken Wildpeak ATs Load Range F this time around. A big thanks to Discount Tire for giving us a non-profit discount.

We were able to squeeze out about 35k miles on our last tires with a majority of those miles towing the Kubota SVL75-2. Let’s see what these are all about!

Another great workshop hangout tonight maintaining friendships and equipment! We are getting things ready for our trip back to Goodlettsville, TN next week.

We’ve got some more equipment projects to knock out this summer before hurricane season begins. Stay tuned for more updates!

We were able to help take down this 65ft hazardous pine tree yesterday for a great family in our church and community! The pine tree was girdled due to a steel cable, and left a very compromised trunk. Felling was not an option, so we had to remove some shrubs and set the lift up in a tight area. Every piece directly over the house was rigged in very small pieces to reduce shock loading the trunk.

Thank you everyone who supports us! You make it possible for us to complete projects like this one. We are headed back to Goodlettsville, TN in a couple of weeks. Please pray for safety for our team.

We are working on some smaller tasks here and there while we await the arrival of the new PTO unit (more on that soon!).

Today we finished sound deadening the roof of the PUG truck with a double layer of 80 mil Kilmat and 10mm closed cell foam insulation. The back wall is next.

We prayed about going to MS and were led to stay here so we can complete two local outreach projects and continue ice storm relief in Goodlettsville, TN at the end of the month. A series of severe storms in late April led to more damage after the ice storm weakened many trees. Hundreds of work orders are still open in that area.

Pray for those serving in MS and other areas from past storms. There is always work to do. We may also have a really cool announcement to make in the next couple of weeks about saw training, so stay tuned!
