School is (almost) out for summer and you don't want to miss the last chance to be part of the HIGH FIVE crew this school year!! 🖐🏾

We had an amazing turn out for April's Battle of the Grades - congrats again to 3rd grade! - with over 30 High Fivers, we hope to see you all back out again to end the year on a HIGH note! 🧡💙

Calling the Johnston's Men at Work (dads, uncles, grandpas, etc.)!! Come out the last Friday morning of the month to welcome the students to school with a high five. Last week we were honored to host the District 13 Spring Confernce. We loved having local units from
Cherokee County here so that we could all celebrate our accomplishments together.

We are so excited to share the accomplishments of Johnston Elementary School PTA for the 2025–2026 school year! 🎉 We may be a small school, but we represented in a BIG way! 💙🧡

Our PTA was honored with numerous awards at both the District 13 and Cherokee County Council levels, recognizing the dedication, passion, and hard work poured into our school community throughout the year. 🏆✨

Johnston dads pay attention because things are about to get serious!! 🧡💙

This month’s High Five Friday is going to be a Battle of the Dads!! 🐆

The grade that has the most dads/grandads show up to join in April’s High Five Friday fun will win a popsicle party for the whole grade! 🍧

We have had a wonderful, consistent group of men that show up every month and we are so thankful for them! We would love to add to that group and finish the year out with our biggest numbers these last two months! 🖐🏾 ✋ 🙌

So will the historically strong K-2 grades come out on top again? 🥳

Or will those “last time” 5th grade dads come out swinging?? 🎓

Can’t wait to see who shows up this Friday the 24th!!

Our book fair is going to be all that and a bag of chips! That's right, we are getting jiggy with it and taking it back to the 80s/90s to show these young kids that reading is da bomb!! We need some pretty fly volunteers April 13th-17th to work the book fair and help Johnston students to chillax with some totally rad new books!
