Are you coming? Do you have a ticket?
We are days away from the fundraiser and I wanted to make sure that you got in on the fun. Even though I know there are a lot of things happening this weekend, I hope you will choose to spend a few hours with us. But, if the other events look more fun, maybe you can give us a donation for us to continue the work that we are doing.
Go right now and double check your inbox and make sure that you have a ticket after your purchase. I know that some folks have had difficulty with our checkout process but I just bought my own ticket and made sure that it wasn't too hard to navigate. The ticket was $30 and I chose to pay Givebutter 10% so my total was $34.20. That means that I'm helping PFLAG and Givebutter at the same time. Givebutter is a free platform that allows us to have the capabilities of tracking our memberships, allows us to share events through email, and create campaigns like our fundraiser so we know who is coming and who just wants to make a donation because they understand the need to keep our organization afloat. Please reach out to me if you need help with the process. I don't want anyone to have to pay ANY extra fees.

We're planning a casual gathering where we can share with you all that PFLAG has been up to and accomplished this past year. We hope that you will share a few hours of community, food, drink, and live music to get to know us better.
This event is being hosted at Doug and Farimah Schuerman's lovely home in Quicksburg, VA from 4pm to 7pm on Saturday, September 26th (Sunday, September 27th as the rain-date). The address is 445 Rockville Road in Quicksburg, VA. The requested contribution is $30 per guest and $20 for youth under 21.
You may want to play in the yard or sit on the deck to chat and dine while enjoying the views and live music. Just remember to bring a sweater in case it gets chilly late in the day.
