With many newer smoke alarms featuring 10-year batteries, the messaging around smoke alarms and batteries has evolved.

As begins this Sunday, remember to adjust your clocks and check your smoke alarm batteries—only if needed. Don't forget to test your alarms monthly.

We would like to take a moment and thank all the Volunteer Fire Dept Members of each station in Cannon County for the work they do each day. We know how much work and dedication you put in to taking care of the citizens of Cannon County. It does not go unnoticed.

Please take a moment to thank them for the work they do not only this week but other times when you might see them.
