We Care Cannon The mission of CCYD is to Develop, Reach, and Encourage our young people to Achieve, Motivating them to their fullest potential.

Our long term goals are to promote community development through information regarding the advantages of a proactive school system which promotes high quality public schools leading to post secondary education. We expect to see evidence of these goals by an improvement of graduation rates, a decrease in drop out rates, and an increase in the number of students successfully pursing higher education

. Our short term goals are to remain viable through fundraising to continue our We Care Cannon annual event!

We we're thrilled to accept this check from 100 Women Who Care - Cannon County today! This year we were able to serve 652 children and this money will help us to make next year's event even better! We love our community! Thank you to each and every member of this group!

Krista Trail and Jill Spry of 100 Women Who Care – Cannon County proudly presented our 3rd quarter 2026 winner a check for $8,600 to Aletha Thomas and Cody Bailey of Cannon County Youth Dream for their We Care Cannon program. Congratulations to this amazing organization! To date, our group has collected a total of $183,250 for various non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting the residents of Cannon County.

Thanks for showing up!

Our Woodbury team showed up in a big way for We Care Cannon! 💙💛

This incredible event served more than 600 children in the community, providing backpacks, school supplies, clothing, shoes, hygiene essentials, haircuts, sports physicals and plenty of encouragement as they prepare for a new school year.

We are proud of our team for giving their time to support We Care Cannon’s 15th year of making a difference. This is what “We Show Up” is all about—being present, lending a hand and caring for the communities we call home! 🎒👟📚

WeCareCannon served over 600 children in our community today! Each child received a backpack filled with grade appropriate school supplies, a new pair of gym shoes, a week’s worth of socks & underwear, health & hygiene products (soap, shampoo, toothpaste & toothbrush), a school spirit t-shirt, a Cannon County hoodie, an option for a fresh haircut and a sports physical, and encouragement from our many volunteers! This was our 15th year!!
