This is the face of a life lost to osteosarcoma. This is a real person affected by something that's always been here and will always affect a handful of children each year. This should motivate us to think about something other than ourselves and all the media hype.
Where's the hype over childhood cancer? If osteosarcoma received 1/8 the publicity that other things do, we might boost the research to stop this disgusting monster called childhood cancer before it takes more lives than it already does. Now that things are starting to look up, help me continue trying to make my dream of assisting families affected by this a reality. Let's find a family to support, together. I haven't recovered from the financial damage of osteosarcoma and I won't for many years. I was blessed enough to have individuals and charities to offer a little sigh of relief along the way. I want nothing more than to be able to pass this on one day.

TRIGGER WARNING::: DEATH

THIS is the face of Osteosarcoma.

This is the fate of sooooooooo many children diagnosed with osteosarcoma when it relapses.

This is why we need to not give up on those affected by this monster. Yes, there are events going on and that will pass eventually but this will always be here. We still need to think of these families during these times. Keep sharing and inviting and let's get together and find sponsors to donate to my organization so we can bless a family and ease their burden as much as possible. I only need a little bit to finish filling everything to be fully on board with the state and federal requirements. I found out today that I am being furloughed. I'll have extra time to work on this so you'll be seeing a lot more of me. Let's keep Colton's legacy alive.

These children will be affected by this for a lifetime. There is no vaccine. There is no absolute cure. The effects of childhood cancer will never leave their mind.

Come down to the ballpark in Woodbury and see my banner once it's up! My nonprofit sponsored a ball team this year. I was glad to be able to help kids do something fun in our small community while bringing awareness to my business and keeping Colton's memory alive!!

I'm still wanting to host a 5K. I have had three people say they're interested. I'll definitely be eagerly looking for participants! Every year around 400 kids are diagnosed with bone cancer. Let's help get this going so we can bring relief, even if it's just to one family at a time.

I want to host a 5K. Please consider signing up! The money will go to a family affected by osteosarcoma. Osteosarcoma's initial treatment involves 9 months of inpatient chemo. You're home maybe 1-2 days a week max after everything is said and done. This often causes one parent to have to hire a sitter for the hospital or to quit their job. This is a HUGE financial strain, which shouldn't be their main focus. I went thousands of dollars in debt over the three years we went back and forth. There are people that don't realize this, and I was even judged for it. Honestly, it will take at least a couple more years for me to get ahead again. I couldn't have done it without the charity assistance that I received throughout his fight. The parent only gets one meal free per day. You have to bring your own food or purchase food there beyond that. And alllll the little things you don't realize these families need while there are astounding: personal hygiene items, clothes in case you run out, laundry items, first aid items for things like stomach aches or headaches, etc. These hospital stays are not cut and dry cheap vacations. They are soul-burdening. Please help me ease someone's burden like people did for me. 💗
