Farmworkers are the backbone of Oregon’s economy — yet many continue to face unsafe conditions, limited protections, and barriers to essential resources.

Join PODER for a statewide virtual Town Hall focused on the realities farmworkers face across Oregon and the policies, research, and community voices shaping the conversation.

We’re honored to welcome Jennifer Martinez-Medina, Assistant Professor at Willamette University, alongside a multidisciplinary research team from PSU, for an important discussion on labor conditions, equity, and advocacy.

ATTENTION OREGON CONSTRUCTION FAMILIES: Financial assistance for child care is now available for registered apprentices and early-career journey workers in construction.

Are your children under the age of 12 (or with special needs under the age of 17) living at home and needing care from someone other than a parent?
Are you spending more than 2-7% of your household income on child care?

If you answered “yes” to these questions, you may qualify for the Child Care for Construction Program. Learn more and sign up at oregon.gov/boli/apprenticeship.
