Congratulations on your retirement Lt. Kimberlin!
After more than 21 years of dedicated service, Lt. Keith Kimberlin is retiring from the Woodburn Police Department.
Lt. Kimberlin joined the WPD in November 2004, bringing prior experience from a correctional facility in Utah. Over the course of his career, he served in a wide range of roles, including the Marion County M**h Strike Force, South Metro Gang Task Force, Detectives Division, and as both Patrol and Detective Sergeant. Promoted to Lieutenant in 2022, he went on to lead the Community Response Division and, later, the Operations Division.
Lt. Kimberlin’s impact on public safety in Woodburn is lasting. He served a decade on the Woodburn PD's Tactical Service Unit and contributed to major investigations across the region. His leadership, experience, and commitment to protecting our community have left a strong foundation for those who continue the work.
Throughout his career, Lt. Kimberlin also remained active in the broader law enforcement community, serving as a board member of the Oregon Peace Officers Association and bringing valuable expertise in public safety leadership and training.
