Grupo Ritual Azteca Huitzilopochtli Serving Woodburn and Oregon communities since 2007 We are dancers of "tradition", that is, we dance for God saying, El Es Dios! Mr.

Our Mission is to teach indigenous Aztec culture and traditions through dance, music and the arts to sustain the teachings of Aztec Dance Captain Jose Carlos Sandoval. The Huitzilopochtli Aztec Ritual Group follows the teachings of Capitan Rigoberto Hernandez, General Rosendo Plascencia, General Miguel Angel Pineda, and Generala Esperanza Aranda Melgosa. The dance tradition of our ancestors was sa

ved by armadillo shells. So the vigil of praise is just as important as the dances. Capitan Jose Carlos has been dancing since 1998. He was one of the first aztec dancers with Capitan Rigoberto Hernandez, who was the founder of MexicaTiahui in 1995. Capitan Jose Carlos has contributed in the growth and development of various aztec dancers in the Northwest. In 2007, with his wife Capitana Kelly Carlos, they founded Ritual Azteca Huitzilopochtli in Woodburn, OR. In 2010, General Rosendo Plascencia from Guadalajara, Jalisco titled them as Captains of Grupo Ritual Azteca Huitzilopochtli. Grupo Ritual Azteca has been closely supported by the General Miguel Angel Pineda Gonzalez, la Generala Esperanza Aranda Melgosa and their family. Carlos teaches Aztec dance, native language and music at the ADC (Aztec Dance Circle) meetings, which are free of charge to all interested families.
