Our new season has just begun... but how did opening night feel decades ago?

For 92 seasons, musicians and audiences have come together to begin another year of extraordinary music. The programs and photographs have changed over the decades, but the anticipation of that first performance remains.

Do you remember your first Bach Festival Society concert? Tell us about it in the comments.

The calendar says October, but we have dreams of A Classic Christmas dancing in our heads. šŸŽ¶ ā„ļø

As we look forward to this year’s show, we’re revisiting a rehearsal from last season with a glimpse of the care, collaboration, and preparation behind one of our community’s most beloved holiday traditions. Each season features a unique repertoire, including special arrangements of well-known Christmas songs created expressly for the Bach Festival Society.

Soon, our singers will once again come together to fill Knowles Memorial Chapel with the music of the season. ✨
