Yesterday, we won the Anchor Awards of Excellence’s 2025-2026 “Event of the Year” award due to Olinween Fright Night.

Created by Kiyauna Lewis ‘27, our current Pinehurst President, the event is a Haunted House experience hosted at the Olin Library that brings in 100-300 attendees annually. We are so thankful to have received this award and have been selected out of the 1000+ events hosted this academic year for this award.

So much goes into this event and we are incredibly grateful to be apart of it. Thank you!

The amazing will be serving as our DJ, accompanied by many lawn games scattered around the Pinehurst lawn. 🕺🎧

On Wednesday, Pinehurst and Spiritual Life hosted our very first Porch Party! Thank you for suggesting this idea. 💡

It was amazing to be in community, have fun, and enjoy great food, beverages, Kona Ice, and games! Thank you to everyone who came to our event. We had over 120 checked in attendees! THANK YOU!!!! ❤️

We plan to host another Porch Party next Spring so keep an eye out. 👀

We are proud to announce that Pinehurst and Religious and Spiritual Life are partnering up to host a Porch Party! 🎉

This event will consist of Mocktails, BBQ, Games, Kona Ice, and an amazing DJ: 🎶

Tomorrow from 5-7 PM, we will be transforming the Pinehurst Cottage and the Pinehurst Porch into a beautiful, fall themed, party so bring your friends and come party with us! 🍗‼️

Thank you to the SGA Fox Funds Committee for making this event possible! ❤️

P.S. Kona Ice will be parked next to the cottage for all to enjoy!
