The countdown is officially on! In just one month, the Breakthrough T1D Jacksonville community will gather for the 2026 Miracles Gala at Sawgrass Marriott Resort.

This year’s celebration holds special meaning as we come together on World Diabetes Day, a day that unites the global diabetes community and reminds us why our mission is so important.

On Saturday, November 14, we will celebrate the incredible strength of the type 1 diabetes community, recognize the progress made possible by our dedicated supporters, and raise critical funds to accelerate breakthroughs toward cures for T1D.

We look forward to an unforgettable evening filled with generosity, inspiration, and hope as we honor everyone who makes our mission possible, including our families, donors, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners.

Together, we are creating a future where T1D no longer holds anyone back. One month to go, and we hope you’ll be part of something bigger.

What a night with our Jacksonville Board! Last Wednesday we got together to connect, catch up and celebrate the amazing people who give their time and talents to our mission.

We also honored David Boor, Becky Gray and Jean Bobin as they finish their board terms. All three have served on the Breakthrough T1D Jacksonville Board since 2020, and they've made a lasting impact on our chapter and the local T1D community. Thank you!

A special thank you to Jean, who also served as Jacksonville Board President from 2023 to 2026. We're so grateful for her leadership, commitment and passion.

We're also excited to welcome Brian Morris as our new Jacksonville Board President! We can't wait to see what's ahead under his leadership.

A big thank you to Veterans United for hosting us and giving us the perfect space for our Board Social!
