Jobs Partnership Jobs Partnership prepares people for life and work with Biblical principles.

At the centerpiece of The Jobs Partnership is Life & Work, a 12-week job training program available to men and women who are stalled in their lives, their jobs, or both. The program does more than teach participants how to write resumes and interview for a job. It helps them develop a sense of hope based upon their understanding of God’s purpose for their lives, both personally and professionally.

Trained community volunteers work with participants one-on-one, establishing mutually rewarding relationships. This connection is often the beginning of a support network that helps students grow both personally and professionally. The “Life” portion of the program focuses on the “soft skills” vital to success at work. Students are expected to complete a weekly assignment from the workbook in preparation for
relevant instruction and small group discussion led by volunteer mentors. Class topics include:

The “Work” portion teaches the essential “employability skills” for
success in finding and keeping a job. Community partners provide qualified instructors and access to resources to facilitate a successful job search, all with the help of volunteer job counselors and interview coaches. Class topics include:

Today, that vision lives on. More than 3,500 people have completed the LifeWorks training process, changing the trajectory of their lives both now and for future generations.
