What an incredible Preschool Readiness Camp!

Over the past few weeks, our campers have grown in confidence, strengthened early learning skills, made new friends, and created lasting memories. Through hands-on activities, play, and social experiences, they took meaningful steps toward a successful transition to school.

A heartfelt thank you to Macy's Mission Every One for making this program possible. Your support is helping children with Down syndrome build the skills they need to thrive, one milestone at a time.

Recent conversations in the media have brought renewed attention to prenatal diagnoses and the decisions families may face during pregnancy. While opinions may differ, one thing remains constant: every family deserves access to accurate information, compassionate support, and a community that understands.
At the Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida, our mission remains unchanged: to support, educate, and advocate for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

Supporting expectant parents is one of the most important things we do because receiving unexpected news during pregnancy can feel overwhelming, and no family should have to navigate those emotions alone. Families deserve current, evidence-based information about Down syndrome, not outdated assumptions or misconceptions.

What may feel like an uncertain path today is one that thousands of families are walking successfully and joyfully every year. While a diagnosis may change expectations, it does not change the value, potential, or worth of a child. Every parent deserves a safe place to ask questions, process emotions, and connect with others who have been there.

At DSACF, we provide accurate information, compassionate support, and connections to a community that will walk alongside families every step of the way.

If you or someone you know is expecting a baby with Down syndrome, make us your first call. We are here to listen, support, and help you see the possibilities ahead.
