We are excited to be Cocktail for a Cause for the month of June! Head out with some friends and family for a cool drink during the hot summer days all the while supporting Winona ORC!

And just like that, June is upon us! Let us introduce you to the first Cocktail for a Cause of the summer — the Cucumber Mojito! 🍃

Winona ORC Industries will receive $1 of every Cocktail for a Cause sale throughout the entire month! Donations without the purchase of a drink are more than welcome too.

Since 1973, Winona ORC has provided employment services and job training for people with special needs throughout Southeast Minnesota. ✨

Kayleigh is our Center Based Employee of the month! She was nominated by her colleagues and they mentioned, "She's has a positive attitude, is a good worker, and is a wonderful friend." We are all so proud of you and appreciate all your efforts.

Gail is our Community-Based Employee of the month!! Gail always has a smile and so flexible doing many jobs here at Winona ORC. Her colleagues said, "She's really good and hardworking. She's a great worker, has a good attitude and a sense of humor." Congratulations Gail for this well-deserved award.

The Worker's Council has decided to start a staff of the month. Rachel Overing was selected as April Staff Employee of the Month and the first recipient of the honor. The Worker's Council noted, "Rachel models hard work, is helpful, and well liked." She has worked here since April 2024 and even though she has worked in most areas of Winona ORC, laundry is her favorite area. Rachel said, " I love working with the clients and seeing growth in their abilities." Thank you Rachel for all your dedication and hard work ethic!

It was such a honor to nominate Jose Pelaez from Studio HUMBL and Pelaez Creative for the Ben and Adith Miller Community Service Tribute Award with the Winona Health Foundation. At Winona ORC, we are so grateful for Jose's in-kind contributions and support of our mission.
