So grateful Winona Health participated in our 8th annual Grocery Grab by sending Katie and Dr. Heslinger to represent their team. Nicely done!!

You’ve seen them in Women's Health caring for patients… but have you seen them speed-running the grocery aisles? 🛒💨

Dr. Heslinger and Katie Duerr, CNM, took on this year’s WNB Financial Grocery Grab, racing the clock with just 90 seconds to collect food (mostly healthy) and personal care items for the Winona Volunteer Services.

Collectively, participating teams gathered $7,926.32 worth of groceries, totaling 1,611 pounds of food for the food shelf.

🎥 An action-packed video is coming soon—stay tuned!

We kicked off Minnesota Food Share Month with the 8th running of the Grocery Grab at Midtown Foods. Ten teams competed for the coveted Golden Cart Traveling trophy including EDINA REALTY, FASTENAL (WITH 2 TEAMS), HBC, MIDWEST METAL PRODUCTS PEERLESS CHAIN, SAINT MARY'S UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS, SUGAR LOAF LIVING, WINONA HEALTH, AND WNB FINANCIAL.

Collectively, these teams bought $7,926.32 worth of groceries for the food shelf, totaling 1,611 pounds of food. It was our biggest $$$ Grocery Grab yet! Hats off to all the teams for their unwavering determination and grit!

Congratulations goes out to the winning team at FASTENAL who had the highest grocery bill exceeding $1,300. And because they won, WBN Financial has to pick up their grocery tab along with their own which totaled $999.97!!

Special thank you to Alissa Gibson and her team for organizing this spirited competition on behalf of the food shelf during MN FOODSHARE month. Your partnership on this is invaluable.

And a shout out to Midtown Foods and the employees who worked last night for cheering on the teams and cleaning up the tiny messes that occurred in the aisles. Thank you for opening your store to support this event.
