Lone Sailor Division kicked off our new drill year this weekend! Today, our cadets completed their swim qualifications, demonstrating their skills, confidence, and readiness in the water. 🌊

A special thank-you to Windermere Preparatory School for generously donating the use of their pool. We are grateful for community partners who help make valuable training opportunities like this possible for our cadets!

The evening will feature:

✨ An original aerial performance with music and visuals inspired by Hamilton
🍴 Food, drinks and community gathering

⚓✈️ Soaring to New Heights! ✈️⚓

This summer our cadets from Lone Sailor Division had an incredible time participating in the EAA Young Eagles event!

Our cadets got a behind-the-scenes look at aviation, learned the basics of flight from expert pilots, and took to the skies for an unforgettable flying experience.

We are so proud of our young sailors for stepping out of their comfort zones and exploring the world of aviation. A massive thank you to the local pilots and volunteers who made this inspiring day possible.

Congratulations to LT Ashley Hawk on her promotion to Lieutenant in the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps! 🎉

An Army veteran, Ashley has been a Sea Cadet officer since 2020 and a member of Lone Sailor since 2022. As our Nutrition Officer, she keeps our cadets fueled with outstanding meals - and if you ask any of them, her poké bowls are legendary!

Thank you for your dedication, leadership, and the care you put into every meal and every training. Congratulations, LT Hawk! ⚓🇺🇸

🎉 Congratulations to Chief Petty Officer Jano Lynch on his promotion to CPO! ⚓️

Chief Lynch, a rising senior at Champion Preparatory Academy, has grown into a strong leader through his dedication and hard work in the Sea Cadet program. With dreams of becoming a commercial pilot, he’s already exploring flight schools and pursuing his lifelong passion for aviation.

One of his favorite experiences was Basic Airman Training, where he had the opportunity to fly a C-130 simulator.

“My favorite part is being able to attend varied training opportunities and grow as a leader. Each step from SR to CPO helps build leadership skills and teaches you how to work together as a team.”
