While we all mourn the loss of the incredible Dolly Parton it is so great to be reminded of all her philanthropic work. Her dedication not only for the animal community but children's literacy through her Imagination Library. Rotary Clubs worldwide work with their local schools and communities to support education and here in Orlando the Rotary Club of College Park is an official partner for her Imagination Library. Who advocated for animal welfare.

Doggy Parton Brand: She launched a pet clothing line called Doggy Parton where a portion of the proceeds goes to Willa B. Farms, a nonprofit animal rescue in Tennessee.

Wildlife Conservation: She supported the Eagle Mountain Sanctuary at Dollywood through a partnership with the American Eagle Foundation to protect and recover bald eagle populations.

PETA Collaboration: She lent her music and voice to campaigns reminding people that dogs need companionship and care instead of being left alone.

We partner with many wonderful local pet rescues to ensure dogs and cats have a safe place to call home. Our goal is to support local rescues that work tirelessly to make that happen.

Florida Little Dog Rescue Group rescues dogs from all over the state of Florida, but our main focus is the Central Florida area. Our volunteers live anywhere from Tallahassee to Tampa, but all of our dogs are fostered in the Orlando area. We are 100% volunteer-based, which means no overhead or salary costs. We are not a shelter, just foster homes, so every dog gets the love and evaluation they deserve.

For 33 years, our Rotary Club has been dedicated to making a difference - bringing people together, supporting meaningful causes, and strengthening our community one project at a time.
