This stunning brown tabby, 8-week-old female kitten named Abby is ready to thrive in her forever home! Abby delights in playing with toys, engaging in peek-a-boo, gently touching faces with her paws to show affection, and playfully pouncing on legs while walking (no nails). Every day, she becomes increasingly social with the animals in the home and has started taking naps in laps. Her resilience inspires awe, and her remarkable journey is a testament to her will to live. She has begun eating alongside her four-legged brothers and sister on the counter like a big girl! With full run of the house, she retires to her bedroom when unsupervised or at bedtime. Supervised outdoor time is also part of her training to ensure she's confident in new environments.

Background: This brave little soul had a heart-wrenching start in life; she was brought to the shelter alone, emaciated, covered in fleas, with sealed-shut eyes. Weak and barely able to walk, she weighed only 11 oz at approximately 4-5 weeks old.

Fast forward to today, and Abby has blossomed into a strong, healthy, 2.5 lb playful kitten with full vision, thriving in a home with dogs and cats. Abby's curious yet cautious nature has been her saving grace, allowing her to survive against incredible odds. This is a kitten with an unbreakable spirit! Regaining full vision, she has received clearance from her ophthalmologist and is set for her spay, microchip, FIV/Felv testing, and her first vaccine on June 6th. Dewormed twice and treated for fleas upon arrival, Abby is now ready for her forever home. We seek a home where Abby can share her life with another kitten or cat. Abby is 7 weeks old ! Boy, does time fly! I took her in as a very sickly 4 week old, and these past few weeks have been like a miracle with her!

She’s doing great and is weighing in at 1 lb 15 oz!!!

Abby has been with us for 2 weeks now and is thriving! I love watching her growth day by day!
She is now acting like a 6 week old kitten should!

At the end of this week she has her follow up appointment with the ophthalmologist, and I’m sure it will be positive!

We will continue to allow her time to play and socialize, and when old enough,get spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

🐾UPDATE: Milo has been adopted!

Just by posting on social media and sharing posts and reaching out to people you know,can help an animal be diverted from being surrendered to a shelter or worse, euthanasia.
Please share a post when you see an animal needing help,or ask others if someone can help ;it can save a life with just a second of your time.

Biggest shout out to Zoe Johnson for sharing his post and reaching out to others to get this ball rolling! Without Zoe, his fate could have ended differently .

Milo is a gorgeous 4-year-old, neutered, 70lb Husky/German Shepherd mix with an all-white coat and blue eyes. Milo is a very sweet, beautiful and active dog. He would probably prefer to be an only pet or with a similarly active dog. Milo is currently living with a cat. He is wonderful on walks and great meeting other dogs. He has been to many dog parks and has gotten along with every other dog he meets, no matter the size. He knows how to sit, stay, lay down, go to his crate, and is fully potty trained. He loves walks, runs, and even knows how to pull you on a skateboard like a sled dog. He is good with kids he has met but has never lived with them before.

The only minor downside is that Milo can sometimes resource guard his treats and food. His resource guarding is more possession than aggression, he will growl and hover over the bone or food as if saying “hey, that’s mine” but he has never snapped, bitten or done anything further than a growl.

Milo is UTD on vaccines.
