It's Crisis Bread Basket’s 40th birthday!!

To show our appreciation to our community for years of support, we are holding a FREE picnic on Nov 21st from 11am to 1pm.

Come celebrate with us by letting our board treat you to lunch! The picnic will be held outside the Crisis Bread Basket pantry at 14092 Ranch Road 12.

So grateful to the Wimberley Texans and Coach Aaron Valero of Wimberley High School and the WISD families who donated to this year’s Peanut Butter Bowl. Peanut butter is one of the important staples we provide to our neighbors in need and this donation helped restock our supply.

And a big thank you to the High School Seniors and Coach Valero for delivering the Peanut Butter to our food pantry!

We want to say a big Thank You to Ace Hardware. They just donated two new picnic tables for the area outside our pantry. We could not be more grateful for their generosity and work in assembling and delivering them to us.

Way to go Ace!!!

Pictured are Ace Manager Sam Acker and ACE employee Trey Degenhart with the new tables.

A Big Thank You to Brookshire Brothers for their generosity! Neighbors Helping Neighbors - that's what it's all about! 😍

Today is the day! 🤗

Today, we're celebrating National Paper Bag Day by doubling the impact of your generosity. For every Brown Bag of Hope purchased today, Brookshire Brothers will match it, helping provide twice as much food to local nonprofits, schools, veteran organizations, food pantries, and neighbors in need throughout our communities.

Thank you for helping us make a difference, one bag at a time. ❤️

They are at it again! Words don’t begin to express our gratitude for the volunteers from Habitat for Humanity and Wimberley Presbyterian who provided time, talent and sweat equity to improve our ramp and provide shade for our neighbors in need. We are beyond grateful! ❤❤

We love our neighbors at the Woodcreek Apartments on RR12! They just held a food drive to help Crisis Bread Basket stock our pantry for summer.

We couldn’t do our work without our generous businesses and community who help us live our mission. Neighbors helping neighbors is the Wimberley Way. ❤🙂

In addition to the twice-weekly donations of nutritious food to Wimberley Valley neighbors in need, Crisis Bread Basket, along with area churches, Barnabas Connection, and FeedingWimberley.org, participates in the Supplemental Food Box program, which provides breakfast and lunches to qualified WISD students during the Summer and Winter break when school is not in session.

This summer it is estimated that the Summer Food Program will provide over 11,000 meals to our neighboring children who otherwise might miss a meal.

This is what it’s all about - Neighbors Helping Neighbors. ❤❤
