While our mission is to build affordable homes for people in need, we are also committed to lending a helping hand in the Wimberley community. We recently partnered with Freedom Canines International to help construct a new deck to expand their training efforts. We are so happy to see the students and pups enjoying their new space! 🛠🐕‍🦺

We could not be more grateful to Wimberley Valley Habitat for Humanity for providing the labor and expertise for our new deck!! We can now safely host more students for training sessions and raise the next generation of FCI Pups! Our dogs work and play on the deck and the old one was falling apart. This deck will last a lifetime!

We receive revenue from our home loans to partner families, however additional funds are needed to continue construction of new Habitat homes. Donations are essential to continuing the efforts to build affordable homes for those in need in the Wimberley Valley.

Did you know the Wimberley Village Thrift Store is one of the largest contributors to Wimberley Valley Habitat for Humanity?

The Wimberley Village Thrift Store is dedicated to giving back to the community. The thrift store is entirely run by volunteers; the store donates what would normally be used as wages back to local charities, including Wimberley Valley Habitat. Volunteering just a few hours a week provides a great service to the Thrift Store while earning financial support for Wimberley Habitat - a win-win!

House #23 final planning and construction has begun! Land clearing and site prep to allow for final site planning was completed in October 2023.
