First State Symphonic Band

First State Symphonic Band The First State Symphonic Band is a community group dedicated to the education and performance of contemporary and classical band literature.

Usually the audience only gets to see the back side of our music director, Jonathan. We’d like to share the many expressions that we get see of our Maestro during a concert.
We get a warm up, we tune, rehearse a little, we get a pep talk and then we get down to business and play some music. 🎶

Another great concert last night for over 100 residents at the Country House. We had a fun night of music!

We also helped Jackie Keoughan, our esteemed Piccolo musician, celebrate her birthday! 🎉

We had a great audience - we saw you tapping your foot, singing along. Thank you for the great compliments and we hope to see you over the summer.

Musicians:

If you have not already discovered it, route 1 is closed at exit 77. Cars are forced off into a very slow detour but there is a way to go off even a little bit more West of route 1 and go down to Milford and then come back over to route 1. Just a suggestion. You may want to just stay right on route 1 but this is going to cause a few snags on sure.
