Music. Community. Conservation. We were proud to support the upcoming River Roads Festival with our first volunteer day at Harriton Preserve in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Alongside Dar Williams, Lower Merion Conservancy, Rising Sun Presents, and an incredible team of volunteers, we helped restore Mill Creek’s ecosystem by removing invasives like multiflora rose, Japanese knotweed, and mugwort, mulching trails, and transplanting native asters. We also loved learning about creek health through a hands-on macroinvertebrate lesson.

These efforts will help strengthen the tree canopy, stabilize streambanks, and improve habitat in Mill Creek and throughout the Schuylkill River watershed.

Huge thanks to everyone who worked so hard throughout the afternoon, and to Dar Williams for inspiring her fans to come together through music and community action. 💚

As a bonus, volunteers earned tickets to the River Roads Music Festival on June 27 in King of Prussia, featuring Dar, 10,000 Maniacs, Billy Bragg, Shawn Colvin, Susan Werner and more.

Stay tuned for more info on our next River Roads volunteer initiative coming on June 28, the morning after the festival.

This weekend, volunteers with rolled up their sleeves to support , a wonderful nonprofit that provides affordable music lessons, summer programs, and performance opportunities for children and teens in lower Westchester County.

We spent the day painting and staining entrance doors and refreshing the boys’ and girls’ bathrooms to create a more welcoming environment for students and their families.

A little paint, a lot of teamwork, and a meaningful way to give back.
Music brings people together—and so does giving back. and are grateful to support an organization helping young people learn, grow, and thrive through music.

This week, volunteered at Meals on Main Street preparing and packaging meals for families and students in need—and we finally got to experience their new industrial kitchen!

A big thank you to Chef Ken for his creativity, guidance, and keeping us inspired along the way.

Together, our volunteers:
* Packaged 120 vegetarian & chicken meals for families in Mt. Kisco (via Neighborhood Link) and students at St. Athanasius School
* Assembled 122 PB & pear challah sandwiches (yum!) for the mobile pantry
* Prepped ingredients for 1,000 meals (including potatoes, butternut squash & chicken)

Each week, Meals On Main Street prepares 5,000 meals using 90% rescued food—and an incredible 35,000 pounds of food overall. With 3 mobile pantry trucks, they reach 55 locations across Westchester County, serving neighbors where they are.

We’re proud to support their incredible, long-standing work addressing food insecurity.

Thank you to the Capitol Theatre and everyone who scooped, chopped, spread & mixed—with so much ❤️

Springing into action with crew 🌱💪
We kicked off the first give-back event of the year Filling in the Blanks—an organization doing incredible work to fight childhood hunger. Every weekend, they deliver meals to 10,000 kids. With 1 in 6 children in Fairfield County facing food insecurity, we’re proud to do our part and support neighboring communities.
Together, our volunteers packed 720 bags—totaling 2,880 meals and more than 5,000 pounds of food. These weekend kits include yogurt, pancake mix, cereal, canned veggies, fruit cups, juice, granola bars, and more.
As a thank-you, volunteers earned tickets to upcoming shows The Capitol Theatre and Hudson River Music Festival.
Huge thanks to our amazing squad who packed with purpose and made a real impact! 🙏🐿️🎶

Huge thanks to the dedicated volunteers who joined us for our final volunteer event of the year. Coming back to where first launched in 2021 made it especially meaningful.
In just under two hours, the team sorted 100lbs of medical supplies and detailed quality checks on another 300–400 lbs—critical resources that will reach communities in urgent need.
AFYA rescues unused medical supplies that would otherwise be discarded and gets them into the hands of healthcare workers responding to disasters and supporting community clinics in the U.S. and abroad. The ripple effect of this work is real, and we’re grateful to be part of the process.
As a bonus, our volunteers earned tickets to New Year’s Eve run at The Cap—so expect some dancing in the streets soon 💃🕺
Thanks to all for making our big-hearted community what it is.
Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right. ❤️✨ 🤘
