Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal (MAREJ)'s 5th Annual Delaware Commercial Real Estate Forecast Summit - State of the Market featured leading developers, owners, investors, brokers, lenders, attorneys, and industry professionals.

This high-level networking and educational event explored the latest trends in industrial development, Multifamily, investment sales, capital markets, and the future of the Delaware commercial real estate market.

It was very informative listening to the knowledgeable, well-rounded panelists of industry leaders who are shaping the future of the CRE Market in Delaware.

Delaware Real Estate Women was treated to an exclusive site tour of Wilmington University Farnan School of Law's new Convocation Center through Jill Di Clementi, Spiezle Architectural Group, Inc., and EDiS Company.

Wilmington University is constructing an 85,000-square-foot Convocation Center at its Brandywine site. The $48 million facility will feature a 2,000-seat auditorium for graduation ceremonies and large events and will also house the University’s Criminal Justice Institute.

EDiS Company coordinated the land planning and construction using advanced BIM (Building Information Modeling) to fit the buildings optimally into the naturalistic setting of the Brandywine Valley.

Member Spotlight! Brittany L. van Veen, AIA, NCIDQ, WELL AP, IIDA, ASID, NCARB, Design Manager, Interior Architecture with Tevebaugh Architecture

Britt is unique in the industry in that she is both an Architectural & Interior Designer with over a decade of design experience across multiple project sectors, including corporate, educational, commercial, and healthcare.
Operating as Tevebaugh’s Design Manager for Interior Architecture, she anticipates and responds to design challenges within the shell including programming, space planning, lighting design, millwork, finishes, furniture, and graphics; excelling at wholistic planning to ensure the client has the right space to fit their needs.

Her commitment to design quality is evident in her collaborative approach to each project, seeking to develop positive working relationships among teams of designers and consultants. With an education in Architecture and her experiential track of obtaining her NCIDQ Interior Design certificate, she brings efficiency to design through the use of both disciplines up front during early design processes. With this expertise she can maximize work efficiency, floor space, and provide a unique, tailored working environment to meet the client’s needs.
Britt is also a WELL Accredited Professional and enjoys giving back to the profession by taking part in volunteering on various committees such as the ACE Mentoring program, the ASID IMPACT Review Task Force for COVID-19, as a test question writer for the NCIDQ exams, as well as an Advisory Board Member for Sherwin Williams. She is also a top-notch golfer, among the best in the state!

Member Spotlight! Delaware Real Estate Women's Board President,

Chandler Elliott-Fehle is once again facing her fear of heights and raising money for Special Olympics of Delaware by participating in Over the Edge May 14, 2026!

She will be rappelling down the north face of 300 Delaware Avenue - a 17-story building in downtown Wilmington. That's 222 feet!

More than the challenge of the rappel itself, she is excited about the difference her efforts make in helping the lives of Delaware's Special Olympics athletes.

Her goal is to raise $1,250.00, and she is halfway there!

A donation of any amount will help to make a big impact in the communities where Delaware's Special Olympics athletes live. Special Olympics Delaware provides year-round sports training, competition, leadership opportunities, and health screenings for thousands of athletes in Delaware - all at no charge.

We would greatly appreciate any support helping Chandler reach this target.
