New Castle County’s six public school districts are partnering to support, inform, and empower families of students with disabilities!

Join the monthly Family Learning Series on the first Wednesday of each month from October 2026 through May 2027. Each virtual session will feature helpful information, resources, and presenters focused on topics identified by families.

When schools and families work together, children thrive! Join the Indian River Parent Council and help strengthen the bridge between home and school.

The Parent Council gives families an opportunity to:
• Share ideas and experiences
• Learn about district processes
• Provide feedback that shapes student success
• Give input on policies, programs, and services
• Advocate for the education, health, and safety of students with disabilities

Who should attend? Families of students with disabilities, families of students receiving or eligible for IEP or 504 services, and anyone interested in building stronger home-school partnerships.
